By creating an account or otherwise accessing Knovius, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you are using Knovius on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
Knovius provides an AI-powered learning platform, including a video/voice avatar tutor grounded in content you upload, auto-generated assessments (MCQ exams), avatar-conducted oral examinations ("vivas"), and progress analytics.
Answers generated by the AI tutor are retrieved from documents you or your organization upload — not from the open internet.
You must provide accurate information when creating an account. Each workspace ("organization") is isolated from every other organization on the platform.
Organization administrators are responsible for the conduct of members they invite and for the accuracy of content uploaded within their workspace.
New workspaces may start with a free trial period as described at checkout. Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis unless cancelled before the next billing cycle.
Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. We may change plan pricing with at least 30 days' notice to existing subscribers.
You agree not to: upload content you do not have the right to share; use the Service to generate or distribute unlawful, defamatory, or infringing material; attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or overload the platform; or use the AI tutor or viva features to impersonate another person during an assessment.
You retain all ownership rights to the documents, course material, and other content you upload ("Customer Content"). You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process, index, and use Customer Content solely to operate the Service for your workspace.
We do not use Customer Content to train models shared across other organizations.
The AI tutor, exam generator, and avatar viva examiner produce responses and assessments based on the content available to them. While answers are grounded in your uploaded material, AI-generated content may occasionally be incomplete or inaccurate.
Knovius should support, not replace, qualified instruction — exam and viva feedback should be reviewed by a qualified human before being treated as final.
The Knovius platform, including its software, branding, and underlying technology, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms transfers any such rights to you beyond the limited right to use the Service.
You may cancel your subscription at any time; access continues until the end of the current billing period. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with notice where practicable.
Upon termination, we will retain Customer Content for a reasonable period to allow export, after which it may be deleted.
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim will not exceed the fees you paid in the twelve months preceding the claim.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Knovius is incorporated, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or an in-app notice at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
